Bergeranthoideae
Taxonomy
The phylogenetic study of Klak shows a clade consisting of a Stomatium, Bergeranthus, Khadia, Volia, Antegibbaeum, Acrodon and Didymaotus clade. This clade is monophyletic, with Stomatium and Bergeranthus clades being the largest.
Closely retaliated is the Aloinopsis clade.
Plant theory 2
Bergeranthoideae is a monophyletic clade and placed in Subphase 3, as cases of Carruanthes ringers and Faucaria tigrina have shown. The Aloinopsis clade is included tentatively.
