A 68-year-old woman complains of fatigue during the summer. In the past, she was often tired in the spring and took vitamin D, which helped. After the Corona period, she remained tired, thinking it was due to coughing, and only recovered after the summer. It gets worse every year, and now it starts in the spring. She sleeps up to 10 hours a night, and during warm weather, she lies in bed all day and feels like a zombie. She feels lost, can't find her way, her head is empty. She feels nauseous from the fatigue and empty. It resembles the fatigue she had when she had Corona. 'It's such a waste of my life,' she finally has a good life. As a child, it was chaotic at home, she always wandered outside, and her mother was only concerned with herself. At school, she was considered dumb and lazy, had dyscalculia, and was often bullied. She started lashing out, which turned the teachers against her, something she finds most traumatic. As a child, she already wanted to be a photographer, but there was no education. She did various jobs but was often treated rudely and faced a lot of bullying. She 'fled' from home, her parents didn't want to see her anymore, and she was always merely tolerated. She married a much older man, and she didn't want to abandon him, but she couldn't do anything right with him either, he turned his back on her. A divorce followed later, she lost her child and had to leave the house. Afterward, she had another even worse partner, the children were turned against her, and another divorce followed. Now things have been going well for a long time, she has mostly processed it; if people act unpleasantly, 'then I'm gone,' she distances herself. She has always worked, with much stress, and usually felt unwelcome. Now she is retired and does volunteer work for a nature organization. Her interest in photography as a child was because her father did it too, she already wanted to make nature films then. She is very creative. She also suffers from allergies to animals, house dust, certain foods, and formic acid; even nettle tea gives her symptoms: swollen eyes, nose, and tongue. Her head then feels full of cotton. This started after she quit smoking, and she had a lot of sinus problems then. She has a lot of joint problems and bursitis. During menopause, she had strong energy fluctuations, and homeopathy helped her then. After taking Typha latifolia, she recovers, but after a few warm days, everything falls back. She has to cancel everything, almost drives off the road, sleeps but does not rest, she stares all day. She reacts very well or very poorly to medication. With stress, she has scary dreams, gruesome images, murder, and slaughter. She can still get angry about things from the past, she talks about it during the day, which often comes up in dreams, 'How can you treat a child like that, she never belonged at home.' Her ex-husband psychologically abused her. Her father supported her, but after a fight about her school choice, she wanted to go into photography, and he also turned against her. He yelled at her and responded with 'Get lost, I never want to see you again,' he was black-and-white. As a child, she already practiced the 'conversation technique' by calming and caring for her parents. After their death, she slowly began to discover who she was. She likes everything, and would immediately say 'I'll buy that' about a pet, she has to be careful, it's too much work.
Analysis
The most striking phases here are Phase 1 and Phase 6, never belonging anywhere, not being able to start within the family or to a human being of Phase 1, and rejection, not belonging to Phase 6. Partner problems and fatigue also belong to Phase 6. Intense fatigue, exhaustion, and energy fluctuations leading to exhaustion are again characteristics of Phase 1. The search is for a suitable class with Phases 1 Subphase 6. The base is Phase 1, never belonging anywhere, above that, more visible, the Subphase 6, the fatigue, the lack of appreciation and recognition.
Gold series: we see this in the allergies, self-awareness, the Lanthanide theme of 'alone,' the 'shadow,' and 'autonomy.'
Silver series: she wanted to attend photography school, she is creative.
This combination brings us to the Cornaceae. Within this family, Cornus rugosa is known for its hardness and always working, independence, and persistence where they close themselves off from the environment, almost isolating themselves. Despite setbacks, limitations, or complaints, they continue, forcing themselves fits Stage 8 as we know from Ferrum.
Stage 8: the hardness of what she went through, the hard work to get back on top, and the hardness of the blows she received. Recognizable from previous Cornus prescriptions, is a pioneering quality, being able to handle setbacks, persevering by looking beyond the misery to the horizon, the ideal they seek or pursue. Prescription: Cornus rugosa MK.
Follow-up
A month later, she says ‘I live again,' she no longer suffered from warm days, she could work in the garden, and she feels very good. She stopped all herbs and supplements, which had no effect. After taking the remedy, she was anxious at night, and had a panic reaction (Phase 1 or Stage 1 aspect), she says because she has lived in stress for so long, she can 'register' it, and look at it with amazement (Gold series aspect). She is always very analytical about herself. Previously, she had to withdraw from busy people, and 'crawl into her shell,' but now she has the strength to engage in conversation. The eczema increases slightly, she sleeps well, wakes up rested, sleeps through now, she has no dreams. She could watch a documentary about narcissism without it upsetting her, as it did in the past. After busy periods, she is now 'just tired,' and no longer 'as if a thick fur is pressing down on her.' Prosaic language, characteristic of a Silver series indication. What remains some months are cramps around her jaw joint, which extends upward. In the following months, her energy continues to increase, and she starts exercising, walking with a club, she is sleeping less, and often lying awake. The stomach cramps she had for years disappeared, and her joints improved with strength training. She worries about the world, and is very involved with nature. She finds herself very emotional. It's a fickle summer, often warm days, but she no longer suffers from it.
